Distance! Rather your dog is just learning how to get off the dock or if you were trying to increase you're over all distance buy a foot or by inches during the seminar we will discuss different techniques to getting distance by targeting the toy and what we can do as handlers to give or dogs the best chance at success.

Air Retrieve! Let’s Catch-It! You will learn more about Air Retrieve & practice with your dog. Whether you are just starting out in the game or wanting to get extra distance, this workshop is for you. No matter what level your dog is at, we have options to help.

 

In this workshop we will introduce new dogs to the Air Retrieve Rig and to grab a stationary bumper even if it is for the first time. Are you ready to take your dog to the next level or try something new?

Hydro Dash! Do you have the need for speed? You will learn more about Hydro Dash & practice with your dog. Whether you are just starting out in the game or wanting to shave off seconds on your dog's time, this workshop is for you. No matter what level your dog is at, we have options to help.

 

In this event we will introduce new dogs to the Hydro Dash Rig and how to grab a stationary bumper even if it is for their first time. Are you ready to race and to take your dog to the next level or try something new?

 

Registration spots are limited because we want each team to have time to practice and work with the trainer one-on-one. Registration includes a take home bag of information and goodies!

Your dog does not need to jump off the dock to register for this seminar. If they are still just becoming comfortable with the dock they can enter the pool on the ramp. However, They mush be comfortable entering the water and grabbing a toy.

Each dog and handler will have the opportunity to learn bumper targeting, dog placement, dog stride on the dock, NADD rules, and how to prepare for your first event.

​

• Please bring your dog's favorite bumpers or toys and their crate for them to stay in during the times they are not on the dock. 

• You may crate your dog out of your vehicle or crate your dog in the pool area near the dock, but no crating on dock or bleacher areas. You are welcome to bring a pop-up tent and chairs. Also there are bleachers that overlook the pool for your convenience.

• All dogs must be up-to-date on their rabies vaccination

• All dog must be 6 months or older to participate

• All dogs must only wear properly fitted collars when on the dock during their turn and leashed when not on dock  

• Striking or pushing/forcing your dog into the pool is strictly prohibited and you will be asked to leave without the opportunity of a refund.

• No smoking or tobacco products are allowed anywhere on K9 WaterWorld property!

• This will be a rain or shine event unless lightning or severe weather occurs.
