All behavior modification candidates must:​

Get a full check up by a veterinarian, do a blood panel and have a clean bill of health because, we want to rule out any and all internal and/or physical health problems that could cause behavior issues.

Fill out a behavior information form on your dog's ProPet account.
-
Schedule a 90 minute behavior consultation to meet the trainers and evaluate the best road to take for your dog's training.

Let the trainer know of any bite incidents or history before we meet the dog.
How it works during and after the behavior consultation?
-
A behaviorist will meet with your dog and you one-on-one during our scheduled consultation.
-
We will evaluate your dog's behavior, discuss the best options for your dog.
-
We will discuss dog behavior, dog body language, stress escalation and trigger stacking.
-
We will discuss training equipment and your training goals.
-
We want to get to know your dog and you in your environment.
-
At the end of the consultation we will have recommendations and will help you get enrolled.
-
In severe cases we may work alongside veterinarian or a veterinarian behaviorist to explore medical options.
Unfortunately, WE WILL NOT WORK with severe dog to human aggression cases where they have bitten and/or disfigured a person or caused anyone hospitalization. We will refer you to a veterinary behaviorist.

​Behavior Modification Stay & Train
About The Program
This program is designed for severe cases to jumpstart your dog's down training journey and/or for dog owners that simply may not have the time to get their dog back on track.
​

Pick up time can be scheduled after our private lesson and can be done during our normal hours
-
You are welcome to pack any blankets or beds just as long as they are machine washable
-
We ask that you pack dog's food and any other items you would like for them to have over night for their stay
-
We will send you videos, pictures, and/or report card updates while they are with us
-
Drop off! We always do an exit lesson with all of our dogs, because we want to make sure you have the skills to continue their training
-
We schedule the follow up lesson(s) that come with the option you choose because we want to make sure to still have your hands on the steering wheel to a well behaved dog.

​Behavior School
About The Program
This program is very similar to our Adventure School program however, this program has been specially designed to work with dogs with behavioral issues at any age.

​We must have your dog attend school 3 days per week. Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. At this time we do concierge's service. We can pick up between 7:00am and 10:00am. Drop-off is from 4:30pm to 7:00pm. All dog’s get a nap time from 12:30pm to 2pm

All dogs get a food puzzle toy or frozen Kong for nap time
​​

We require a minimum 3 week commitment for your dog to gain some foundation skills, build a relationship with them, and start putting them to the test.

When your dog is ready, we will start taking their training on the road by practicing in public spaces that have more distractions.

This program is designed for the dog to attend as long as it needs to or maybe able to transition into our regular Adventure School program ​​

Please DO NOT feed a big breakfast before pick-up. Dogs will be earning treats as they learn new skills and we want to help maintain an ideal weight for their body style.

All dogs are expected to attend Behavior School every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday while enrolled

Your dog is in this program indefinitely unless you email us 3 days before your dogs next Behavior School day stating that you are happy with your dogs training at this time.

Vaccinations required. DHPP and Rabies before they start Behavior School.
​​

We DO NOT require Bordetella, Lyme, or Canine Influenza.
​​

Dogs must be on current heart-worm preventive and dewormer program.

Individual Week of Behavior School
1 week of training 3 days per that week
Plus 1 private lessons

You can continue to purchase individual weeks indefinitely

Private Lessons
We also offer Behavior Modification Private Lessons for dogs that may not need the Stay & Train Program, but a few lessons to get them back on the right training road. This all depends on what type of behavior(s) and the level of severity.
