Logan Conty, CGC
Welcome to Crossroads Dog Academy, where passion meets expertise in canine training and behavior modification! Meet Logan, Co-Owner, who’s a driving force behind our mission to empower both dogs and their owners to build strong, harmonious relationships.

At the heart of Logan's world is Stormi, a remarkable service dog and loyal companion. Together, they inspire each other and demonstrate the transformative power of positive reinforcement training.
Logan and Laci met in December 2021 as a student in Laci’s group training class. Logan was inspired by Laci’s teachings and her love for dog training was immediately ignited. Laci helped advance Logan and Stormi’s relationship beyond any bond Logan could have ever imagined.

After a sudden halt in her corporate career, spanning six years in the tech industry, she found herself standing at a professional “crossroads”. Reflecting deeply on her true sources of joy, she discovered it lay in her daily interactions with Stormi, marveling at Stormi’s innate tasking abilities, and reminiscing about the remarkable journey since her first encounter with Laci. Inspired by the profound impact Laci had on fostering a deeper connection between her and Stormi, Logan felt compelled to extend this gift to others. Motivated by this calling, she made the bold decision to pursue a certification as a dog trainer, embarking on this new and exciting journey.
With a background and degree in human psychology, Logan brings a deep understanding of human behavior and how it marries with canine behavior to every training session.
Currently pursuing her CPDT-KA certification, Logan's dedication to continuous learning ensures that she stays at the forefront of modern, science-based training methods.
She is a AKC certified Canine Good Citizen (CGC) evaluator and enjoys helping dogs achieve their Canine Good Citizen (CGC), Community Canine (CGCA), and Urban Canine (CGCU) titles.

While training her service dog Stormi, she was able to see first hand how much a tasked train service dog could help a person. Logan hopes the be able to train other service dogs for people in need to help mitigate or alert to their disabilities.

Besides service dog training and manners training. Logan is obsessed with learning more about dog psychology and behavioral. She actively studies and want to know what makes some behaviors exist in some dogs. She has a natural eye for watching behaviors of a dog she is working with and helps medicated those unwanted behaviors.

Logan has had experience working with dogs that had severe behavior issues such as, a rescue dog that was scared to death to leave its new home. After many sessions of building true with the dog and strengthening the new owners relationship with the their new dog. They are now able to leave the house, enjoy walks in their neighborhood and going to StarBucks together.
Besides working with dogs the have anxiety issues and fear, Logan has had experience working with reactive dogs that had reactivity issues towards other humans and dogs.

Besides actively working gaining her CPDT-KA certification, Lagan plans on achieving many other certifications such as being a certified dog behaviorist and a CPDT-KSA. One thing for sure Logan wants to help all dogs and owners live their best lives, keep up with the lated studies and dog training methods are very important.

Beyond the training arena, Logan finds joy in spending quality time with her large, close- knit family, her husband, Donnie, her sisters, nephew, and parents. Whether it's traveling, playing sand volleyball, or embarking on adventures with Stormi, Logan cherishes every moment spent creating memories with her beloved family and friends.
